Youth Ministry

Youth Mission Statement: Equipping the next generation to be a community of love, discipleship, and service because of Jesus.

At Asbury, our goal is to create a safe, authentic, and inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can come and explore how God is working in their lives and in the world around them.

Life Groups

This is a format in which all students will be placed in a small group of their peers, along with adults, who care about their lives and their faith. (split by middle school and high school) We will explore concepts relating to life, spirituality, service, and issues teens care about.

confirmation

Confirmation for 7th and 8th Grade students from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in Room 004 Begins October 6 and meets every other Sunday

This journey will equip students with the information, tools, and resources to further their relationship with Christ. We will explore topics such as community, church history, our beliefs, the Bible, prayer, and theology. After a series of classes, students will confirm the vows that were made at their baptism, make a public commitment to Jesus Christ, and become full members of our church community. Contact Emily Lawrence, Director of Youth and Next-Generations Ministries, at emily@sfasbury.org for details.
