Children's Ministry
At Asbury, we want to create a safe, fun environment for kids to learn about the love of God. Kids will hear stories from the Bible, learn to worship in song, and learn to love God and love others.

children's church
Children (Kindergarten-5th Grade) are invited to Children’s Church in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the Children’s Message at the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. worship services. Children will continue to explore the Children’s Message through various activities such as science experiments, interactive story-time, crafts, cooking, etc. Children’s Church will be dismissed when worship is over.
Nursery
Available for ages infant through 5 years old. Open on Wednesdays from 5:45-8:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. as long as staffing requirements can be met. Asbury’s youngest disciples will be offered faith-based activities to foster their growing relationship with God as well as their relationship with one another.
Children's Choir
Joysingers Choir- September through May
For children in K–6th Grade. This choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in Room 130. Joysingers sing at the 9:15 a.m. worship.
Joysingers Choir is led by Julie Ashworth.

These weekly gatherings will include faith-building games, stories, group discussions, mission projects, etc. Through it all children will grow in faith and in relationship with one another!

Vacation Bible School is a free event that takes place during the summer months and is fun for the whole family! In 2024, about 50 people (children& adults) spent four days diving deep into friendship with God at Scuba VBS! Through Bible Stories, Games, Music, Science Experiments and more, we learned that God is a friend who is real, God is a friend who loves, God is a friend we can trust, and God is a friend for everyone!

camping ministry
At Asbury, we believe there are great opportunities to have life-changing experiences with Jesus at camp. There are a variety of camps available for all ages and interests through our Dakotas Conference Camps with more information available here.
