There are a number of ways to connect with the mission and vision of Asbury UMC through various service opportunities, special events, and missions projects. Below, you will find some of the current announcements and a calendar of events for things going on in and through the ministry of Asbury.

Current Mission Opportunities
Partner with Asbury’s Mission Team on one or more of these current mission projects:
- Adopt a Teacher/Classroom
- Knit or Crochet Baby Sweaters for Layette Kits
Wandering Weavers
All are welcome to explore Prairie Blush Orchards in Lake Norden, SD. Please join us on Wednesday, September 30 at 9:30 a.m.
Heartland Corn Maze
Asbury Youth are once again heading to the Heartland Corn Maze to meet up with other United Methodist youth groups for a night of fun (and possibly some friendly competition). This event is free for all youth attending, so have your student bring a friend for a fun night out!
Meet at Asbury at 6:00 p.m.
Adult Small Groups
Asbury offers several small groups:
- Sunday Morning Small Group
- Caring Connections - Fellowship for Women of All Ages
- Monday Small Group
- Wednesday Small Group
- Disciple Fast Track

Join a Choir
Asbury Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel. All are welcome to join the choir.
Handbell Choir rehearses Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Please come join us. You must be able to read music. Questions? Email Jolayne Hanson, Director.
Beyond Sunday
Asbury has a weekly podcast that gets released every Monday, hosted by Pastor Katie called Beyond Sunday. This podcast will be exploring the ways that you can take your faith journey beyond Sunday worship. Pastor Katie will be interviewing people within the church, offering insights in church decisions, sharing information on mission and ministry we have available and so much more!
