  • Asbury Film Festival

Invite a friend to our summer Asbury Film Festival series where we look for God at the movies. We will examine practical life lessons and Biblical principles through the lens of five films. We will show each movie in the Sanctuary the week prior to our Sunday sermon where we will dig into the themes of the movies and what they reveal about the kingdom of God.

Movie Nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary:

    July 24- Barbie (PG-13) 2023

    July 31- Wish (PG) 2023

    August 7- Wonka (PG) 2023

    August 14- The Shawshank Redemption (R) 1994

Popcorn will be provided FREE. Pop will be available for a donation to support camping scholarships. Join us for the movie nights! Join us for worship! This is a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor!

  • Summer Nights Youth lock-in

We are so excited to host our first annual Summer Nights Lock-In for the Youth Group! Students going into grades 6-12 are invited to join us for a night of hot dogs, s’mores, and plenty of fun during this epic all-nighter. Students are encouraged to invite friends and hop into the action as we build community together. • Personal Dignity Kits

During the month of July, Asbury's Missions Team will be collecting Personal Dignity Kits for Midwest Mission Distribution Center. These kits contain items such as bath soap, shampoo, towels and more to be sent to disaster areas where people have lost everything. You can help by picking up a shopping list and ziplock bag on the table outside the Sanctuary, purchasing the items on the list, putting them in the bag and returning them to the basket. If you're unable to shop, you can donate $10 per kit on our online giving page and we will do the shopping for you.

  • School Bags for MMDC

Asbury’s Missions Team would love to invite any sewers to help sew cloth bags that will be used to collect Student Kits for Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC) in August. Sewers are invited to pick up or download a pattern and fabric is available outside the church office or you can use fabric you have at home. Fabric donations are also welcome and can be dropped off in the container by the church office. The recommended fabrics are denim, corduroy, sailcloth, medium-heavy drapery, and light upholstery.

Our goal is to have 200 bags for the project and we are still in need of 55 bags to meet that goal.

Click here to download the pattern.
