Due to this week’s winter storm, we are making some adjustments to our Ash Wednesday plans as we begin the season of Lent together at Asbury. Our evening Ash Wednesday Service will be online only at 6:30 p.m. on Asbury’s Facebook page, the Asbury Facebook Campus, or at sfasbury.online.church. A drive-thru imposition of ashes where people can receive the sign of the cross on their foreheads will still be available from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Western Avenue entrance of the church and we will also provide an opportunity for people to have ashes imposed on Sunday morning as well. The online Ash Wednesday service will also include communion. You are encouraged to find something to represent the communion elements for you at home or you can stop at the church for pre-packaged communion elements during office hours on Tuesday or as a part of the drive-thru imposition of ashes on Wednesday.
