Your gifts make a difference

At Asbury we work hard to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. Our goal is to create the most impact possible in our efforts to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. If you have questions about giving or the establishment of memorial funds in remembrance of a loved one, please contact Sarah Wagenaar.

  • Christmas Gifts For Laura Wilder

During December Asbury will collect gifts for our friends at Laura Wilder Elementary School. Student needs include snow pants, winter coats, boots and gently used adult coats for some of the fourth and fifth grade students. For the staff room, they can use K-cups, tea bags, plastic silverware and paper plates. Gifts will be collected in the shopping cart in the Hospitality Room. If you prefer, cash donations will provide taxi and bus rides for students and families.

  • Asbury Angel tree

Asbury’s Angel Tree will again provide gifts for the residents at Cayman Courts, an assisted living facility for the elderly and developmentally challenged. Asbury is the only group that provides gifts to the residents of Cayman Courts at Christmas. If you chose a gift slip, please purchase the gift, tape the request slip on the wrapped gift, and return it to Asbury by Dec. 9. The gifts will be delivered before Christmas. Any questions, contact Tracy Johnson at tracyj0819@gmail.com. Thank you Asbury!

  • Volunteer at the Salvation Army Angel Tree

Asbury will host the Salvation Army Angel tree located in the Empire Mall in front of Macy’s on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 2 to 9 p.m. Please consider signing up for a one hour (or more) time slot on the sign-up sheet located in the Hospitality Room. Volunteers will present information sheets to shoppers who may have questions and accept gifts to place under the tree. It is a great opportunity to share the spirit of the season. Questions?
