There are a number of ways to connect with the mission and vision of Asbury UMC through various service opportunities, special events, and missions projects. Below, you will find some of the current announcements and a calendar of events for things going on in and through the ministry of Asbury.

Partner with Asbury’s Mission Team on one or more of these current mission projects:


Asbury has a weekly podcast that gets released every Monday, hosted by Pastor Katie called Beyond Sunday. This podcast will be exploring the ways that you can take your faith journey beyond Sunday worship. Pastor Katie will be interviewing people within the church, offering insights in church decisions, sharing information on mission and ministry we have available and so much more!
This podcast will be available on the website, on the church Youtube page, or you can find the audio version on
Spotify or Apple Podcast.

The United Women in Faith will meet Thursday, September 3 at 12:30 p.m. All women are invited to join us for a potluck in the Fellowship Hall. (Please bring a dish to share.) The program will be “Re-orienting Ourselves” presented by Rennae Petersen. All women are invited.

All men are invited to join us for breakfast and fellowship on Saturday, September 5 at 8:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Join the Missions Team to pack 1200 rice/soy meals on Sunday, September 20 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Each bag serves 6 people and will be shipped around the world where needed. All ages are welcome to participate, and sit-down jobs are available. Join us anytime during the morning. Each bag cost $2; donations needed!
