Our Wednesday Lenten theme is “To Be Made Well” based on the healing stories of Jesus. In a time in our world where hurt, fear, and trauma are a part of our daily lives, these stories are meant to draw us back to the Great Physician, the sources of healing, Jesus Christ.

Each Wednesday during Lent we will share a meal together at 5:15 p.m. Worship and discussion will be held around the tables at 6:00 p.m. A free-will offering will be received to support the Tree of Life Ministry in Mission, SD.

We will use a study created by the Dakotas Cabinet based on the healing stories of Jesus – the pool of Bethsaida, the bleeding woman, the bent over woman, four friends, blind Bartimaeus. We will view a brief video from a Dakotas pastor, share in worship and discussion around the tables, and close with communion each week. Invite a friend to join us!

Join us as we bring the Triumphal Entry to life with our beloved Donkey Parade this Palm Sunday! Our donkey will lead us around the block as we wave our palms and sing Hosanna together. The parade will begin at 10:15 a.m. on March 29 and will start with a reading of Caleb’s Colt in the Asbury parking lot. This joyful, time-honored tradition has been part of Asbury’s Palm Sunday celebration for over 35 years, and we can’t wait to share it with you again.

Come make Plarn Sleeping Mats for Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC). Plarn is plastic yarn made out of plastic grocery bags. The Sleeping Mats are sent internationally and locally. They are great for those who need a barrier between them and the hard ground. They have been sent for disaster relief, for the homeless, and for those who need temporary sleeping arrangements.
