  • Lent Begins in "The wilderness"

Join us for Sunday morning in-person worship with traditional services at 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.  Our non-traditional service will be at 10:30 a.m. Nursery Care and in-person Sunday School will NOT be available during this initial start-up.

Worship attendance will be limited to 50 people per service to maintain physical distancing of six feet or more. Registration for worship will be required prior to Sunday services via Sign-Up Genius  or a call to Asbury during office hours.

You will be greeted as you enter and invited to sanitize your hands. Masks are required while in the building—and are available at Asbury.

Worship services will be about 35 minutes long to provide time between services for guests to enter and exit the sanctuary with physical distancing. Our time together will include songs, prayer, and a message. Do not expect a kids’ message at this point. A small choir of up to eight people may sing at the 9:00 a.m. service. Bulletins, hymnals and pew Bibles will not be available. A bulletin attachment is emailed from the office each week. Offering plates will be located at the sanctuary doors, but will not be passed. Ushers will spray clean the pews after each service.

  • Lenten Wednesdays – “Surprise the World!”

Our online Lenten study each Wednesday is “Surprise the World!” based on a book by Michael Frost. Mike seeks to simplify the “way of Jesus” for our world today with his BELLS model for sharing faith.  B.E.L.L.S. stands for BLESS, EAT, LISTEN, LEARN, and SENT. Each Wednesday during Lent, a leader from the Dakotas/Minnesota Conference will challenge us to cultivate these five habits as a way to surprise the world with the Good News of a surprising God – a risen Savior!

This study will be hosted by Pastor Matt and Pastor Kip each Wednesday starting February 24 at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom and Asbury’s Facebook Live. (This study will replace Wednesday night worship until after Easter.) Those joining with Zoom will be able to interact online “face-to-face”. Those joining with Facebook Live will be able to share in the comments. Invite a friend to join us!
