There are a number of ways to connect with the mission and vision of Asbury UMC through various service opportunities, special events, and missions projects. Below, you will find some of the current announcements and a calendar of events for things going on in and through the ministry of Asbury.

Beyond Sunday
Asbury has a weekly podcast that gets released every Monday, hosted by Pastor Katie called Beyond Sunday. This podcast will be exploring the ways that you can take your faith journey beyond Sunday worship. Pastor Katie will be interviewing people within the church, offering insights in church decisions, sharing information on mission and ministry we have available and so much more!

Backpack Blessing
The Asbury Next Generation Team is inviting teachers and students of all ages to have a prayer of blessing over their backpacks to welcome the new school year. The backpack blessing will take place on Sunday, August 23, during the children’s messages. Bring your backpacks and let’s do this thing in prayer and together!
Fall Sign-Up
Join us between worship services on Sunday, August 23 and sign up for Next Generation activities this fall. Students in grades 6-12 will enjoy time to hang out in the youth wing, and tours will be provided for infants and children in the nursery and kids’ wing. Families can register for activities, receive a calendar of events for the year, and learn about ways to be involved this fall.
