Asbury's Caring Connections women's group will meet for the last time this school year on Sunday, May 5 in the Asbury Library at 10:15 a.m. for a brunch and book exchange. All ladies are welcome to attend!

Come celebrate the women in your life at our Mother’s Day Celebration on Sunday, May 12! Hosted by Asbury’s Children’s Ministry Team with the help of By My Works, we will be serving donut holes and a variety of hot/cold beverages in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll also have a simple Make and Take activity available! (one per family) We’d love to have you join us!

Lake Poinsett “Wish List” Bake Sale: Ladene Bachtell and friends are hosting Bake Sales on Sunday mornings at Asbury UMC from 8:30-11:30 a.m. May 5 is the LAST Sunday for the Bake Sale. The Bake Sale is free-will donations and will benefit Lake Poinsett Camp's "Wish List". The Bake Sale is part of Ladene's "Kingdom Assignment". The first sale, on April 14, raised about $500. And an anonymous donor is offering to match up to $500 with the upcoming Bake Sales! Thanks for your support for Camping!

Church Basement Supper: Saturday, May 11, 6:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall. Paul Zeeb is hosting a "Church Basement Supper" as part of his "Kingdom Assignment." SEATING IS LIMITED TO 12 PEOPLE. Reservations are needed. Contact Paul at 605-310-9790. The menu includes: hors d’oeuvres, salad, pork medallions, risotto, glazed carrots, and dessert. The cost is a free-will donation to benefit the "Promising Futures Fund."

Elaine Roberts’ Kingdom Assignment – Terry Redlin Food Pantry: The Terry Redline Food Pantry continues to bless around 30 families each Tuesday afternoon. Wesley UMC continues to supply the pantry with milk each week through a grant from the Dakotas United Methodist Conference and donations. Wesley UMC and King of Glory church provide the volunteers each Tuesday. Your help is needed to turn $100 into milk money for the next school year by donating to the Wesley United Methodist Church – Milk Fund. Donations may be sent directly to Wesley UMC, 1700 E. 6th, Sioux Falls, SD 57103 marked for the Milk Fund. Or send donations to Elaine Roberts, 3920 S. Terry Ave., Apt. 42, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.

At Asbury, we believe there are great opportunities to have life-changing experiences with Jesus at camp. There are a variety of camps available for all ages and interests through our Dakotas Conference Camps with more information available here. 

Asbury is also committed to investing in those wishing to attend camp by providing camp scholarships covering 1/2 of the early bird registration. When registering, simply use Asbury's church code 120181CA. If you have any additional questions about scholarships, click here! An additional 10% discount is available to anyone who has not attended a camp in the last three years.
