Generosity Sunday Update – (Thursday, December 7, 2017)
A total of 140 giving units completed Estimate of Giving Cards this year. A total of 90 of these giving units increased their financial commitment above their last year’s amount. The Estimate of Giving Cards totaled $420,286. We expect $192,804 through electronic giving and $227,482 through other means. Based on last year’s giving records, we can expect to receive $65,000 during the coming year from people who have consistent giving patterns during the past twelve months but did not return a card. We can expect another $12,200 through designated mission gifts, rental fees and loose offerings. This gives us a grand total of $497,486 anticipated income for the next twelve months. Our 2018 budget goal (amounts requested by committees) totals $521,785. To date, we are $24,299 short – a 4.7% deficit. You are invited to attend the Administrative Council meeting tonight, Sunday, December 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the Hospitality Room to discuss, amend and/or approve the 2018 General Budget. Thanks for your generosity!

International Mission Trip 2018
Asbury youth and adults will partner with Samaritan’s Feet for a 2018 International Mission Trip to Jamaica from July 7-14.
Join us and make a lasting impact around the world by becoming true ambassadors of Samaritan’s Feet. On this trip, you’ll meet and serve some of the most impoverished children in the world. Participants discover a deeper level of compassion and servant heart within themselves. Through shoe distributions in unfamiliar places, our volunteers foster community, teamwork, and servant leadership, as well as learn through on-the-ground moments about the world beyond your zip code.
New 605 Breakthrough Prayer Cards
Asbury has a NEW special prayer that we ask members and friends to offer every day at 6:05 a.m. and/or 6:05 p.m. Please pick up a Prayer Card from the usher’s table in the hallway near the sanctuary doors. Thanks for praying that God will breakthrough and do new things in us and in Christ’s church. Thanks!
